| Character info | Opens a dialog showing the decimal value and hexadecimal value of the active byte as well as how this will be displayed (this may vary based on font and script). Along with this the offset of the active byte is displayed in both decimal and hexadecimal formats. |

The columns will be cut from every line that is selected, or if no selection from every row starting at the current caret position and proceeding to the last row of the file. If a value of zero '0' is entered, columns will be cut based on the selected text when invoked. This command does put the deleted text on the clipboard. |
