Insert file

Insert file opens a dialog allowing you to select a file to insert into the active file. The Format dropdown is used to specify the encoding of the file which is being inserted into the active file. This will enable UltraEdit to convert the file to the format of the target file if necessary.

The complete contents of the selected file are inserted in the active document at the caret position.
