The Editor » Bookmarks branch of Settings has the following options.
If this option is selected the "Add bookmark" dialog is opened when a bookmark is added, prompting you for a name for the new bookmark.
If this option is selected a tooltip containing the bookmark name and the line number on which the bookmark is located will be displayed when hovering the cursor over the bookmark.
If this option is selected, setting a bookmark in a file will cause the entire line to be highlighted rather than just the associated line number. If desired, you may select this option along with Disable line numbers under Settings » Editor display » Miscellaneous to remove the line number gutter.
If this option is selected the column number of the caret is stored with the line number when the bookmark is created. Jumping to a bookmark will position the caret to the stored column number as well as the corresponding line. If this option is not selected, the caret will be positioned at the beginning of the line when moving to a bookmark.
This option allows you to save bookmarks for files after closing them. If this option is disabled, upon closing a file the editor will not remember any bookmarks you added to the file.
If this option is selected, bookmarks will be stored and tracked independently for each split window.
