The bookmark gutter is the empty column of space just to the right of the line number margin, and to the left of the code folding column, next to the main edit window. The bookmark gutter can be toggled in the Layout tab.
When hovering the mouse over the bookmark gutter, the cursor will change to a bookmark cursor. Clicking on the bookmark gutter will toggle a bookmark for the associated line.
The bookmark gutter includes the following context menu items:
| Toggle bookmark | Adds or removes bookmark at current line. |
| Edit bookmark name | Allows you to provide name for bookmarked line (reflected in the Bookmark Viewer). |
| Hide bookmark gutter | Hides bookmark gutter. |
| Clear all bookmarks | Removes all bookmarks from the active file. |
| Clear find bookmarks | Removes all Find bookmarks (those set by a find operation) from the active file. |
| Copy all bookmarked lines | Copies all bookmarked lines in active file to clipboard. |
| Cut all bookmarked lines | Removes all bookmarked lines from active file and adds them to clipboard. |
| Delete all bookmarked lines | Deletes all bookmarked lines from active file. |
| Open bookmark viewer | Opens Bookmark Viewer dockable window. |
