Settings:Scripting

The Scripting branch of Settings includes the following option.

Show status information in output window

If selected, all status information including script name, whether the script succeeded or failed, and error information is printed to the output window. If the output window is closed but this option is selected, or if the showOutput scripting property is true (which it is by default), then data is still written to the output window, but the output window is not automatically displayed.
