The Integrated applications » Version control system » Git branch of Settings includes the following options.
This option is checked by default, whether Git is installed on the local system or not. If unchecked, this will remove all Git related items from the context menu and disable the Git branch manager and Git shell items in the "Git" dropdown under the Project tab. Unchecking this will also disable the other Git configuration items.
By default, this field is populated with the path to the Git binary if UEStudio detects this when started. If this is not automatically detected, you can enter the full path to the binary or use the Browse button to navigate to the folder containing it. The third party Git application itself must be installed on your local system in order for Git functionality to be supported.
If this option is selected, UEStudio will be set as the (global) default editor for all repositories in the Git configuration file.
If this option is selected, UltraCompare will be set as the (global) default diff/merge tool for all repositories in the Git configuration file.
If this option is selected, you'll automatically be prompted for a new login/password if authentication for a Git repository fails.
Click this button to reset all stored Git passwords. You'll be prompted to enter them the next time you access the Git repositoreis.
Note: Git for Windows is not automatically downloaded and installed by UEStudio and must be installed separately. You can download and install the Git for Windows client library.
