The Spell checker » Dictionary directory branch of Settings allows you to configure the Aspell directories UltraEdit / UEStudio use. This section of configuration is only available with Windows 7, as Windows 8 and later use the Windows system dictionary for spell checking.
The directory specified here will be used to store custom words added to dictionaries. See Added words.
The directory path specified here is used to store the data and dictionary directories related to Aspell. By default this should point to the UltraEdit / UEStudio install directory. When used from the editor, Aspell looks for dictionaries under the \GNU\Aspell directory.
