Shortcut: Ctrl+G

The Goto dialog allows you to specify a line / column number, page break, or bookmark at which to reposition the caret.

Page break If selected, the caret is positioned at the line with the specified page break character.

Line / Column If selected, the caret is positioned at the line/column specified and the line is scrolled into view. If the line number is greater than the number of lines in the file, the caret is positioned at the end of the file. If the column number is greater than the number of columns in the file, the caret is positioned at the end of the specified line.

You can also specify relative positions. For example, "+6" would cause the caret to be positioned 6 lines below its current position, and "-8" would cause the caret to be positioned 8 lines prior to its current position.

Bookmark If selected, the caret is positioned at the line with the chosen bookmark.

Hold the Shift key at the same time as clicking the Goto button to select all text from your current position in the file to the new position of the Goto command.

In Hex mode the Goto dialog allows you to select the offset into the file at which the caret should be positioned. If the offset is greater than the file size, the caret is positioned at the end of the file.
