<h2 class="setting">Enable Git integration</h2>
This option is checked by default, whether Git is installed on the local system or not. If unchecked, this will remove all Git related items from the context menu and disable the Git [[Branch_manager|branch manager]] and [[Git shell]] items in the "Git" dropdown under the [[:Category:Project tab|Project tab]]. Unchecking this will also disable the other Git configuration items.

<h2 class="setting">Full path to the Git binary</h2>
By default, this field is populated with the path to the Git binary if UEStudio detects this when started. If this is not automatically detected, you can enter the full path to the binary or use the '''Browse''' button to navigate to the folder containing it. The third party Git application itself must be installed on your local system in order for Git functionality to be supported.

<h2 class="setting">Set UEStudio as default editor for all repositories</h2>

If this option is selected, you'll automatically be prompted for a new login/password if authentication for a Git repository fails.

<h2 class="setting">Reset stored passwords</h2>
Click this button to reset all stored Git passwords. You'll be prompted to enter them the next time you access the Git repositoreis.
