<h2 class="setting">Show automatically</h2>
Function tips for parameter list display are automatically displayed upon typing a function name followed by the parameter list open character (such as open parenthesis). You can always re-display the function tip by typing Ctrl + Shift + Space.

<h2 class="setting">Use function tips data (if available) for function list</h2>
If selected, UEStudio's built-in language parser is used to populate the [[Function list]] rather than the [[Wordfiles#Function_list_strings|function strings]] defined in the syntax highlighting wordfile. The file to be parsed must be part of the active project and the file extension must be defined under [[Settings:IDE:Parser|Settings » IDE » Parser]] for this to work properly. If the file type and extension aren't specified under the this branch, then UEStudio won't be able to automatically parse the functions, and the function string definitions from the wordfile will be used.
