The '''SSH / telnet''' console is a dockable child window that allows you to connect to servers via SSH or telnet. In order to do this, you must first set up an account in the [[SSH / telnet accounts]] dialog. You can do this by clicking the '''Accounts''' button.

The drop down at the top of the SSH / telnet window allows you to select one of your configured accounts. You can then press the '''Connect''' button to connect to the server. This button changes to '''Disconnect''' once connected.

Once connected to the server, you can type directly into the window to issue command line / terminal commands to the server, just as you would in a normal SSH or telnet session.

You can create multiple SSH / telnet connections in the SSH / telnet window by right-clicking on the active session tab at the bottom of the window and selecting "Add terminal."
