The bookmark gutter is the empty column of space just to the right of the line number margin, and to the left of the code folding column, next to the main edit window. The bookmark gutter can be toggled in the [[:Category:Layout tab|Layout tab]].

When hovering the mouse over the bookmark gutter, the cursor will change to a bookmark cursor. Clicking on the bookmark gutter will toggle a bookmark for the associated line.

The bookmark gutter includes the following context menu items:
